Set up Quick Build for a new UI test project

Quite commonly, we create a dedicated test project in its own repository. The above screencast shows:

  • Create new test project in TestWise
  • Set up repository in Github
  • Create a BuildWise Project  (Quick Build)
  • Configure build project setting
  • Run tests in CI

Tools

  • Test IDE: TestWise 5
    TestWise 4 does not have option to include BuildWise rake integration yet. The test project can ben open in either version though
  • Git repo: Github free public account.
    the choice of repository does not matter to BuildWise, as long as it is Git compatiable
